From Vietnam to Gozo

Saigon Café in Gozo was born as a meeting of fate.
Since 1988, when I left Vietnam at age 20, I have lived and explored many places across Germany and Italy, carrying memories, flavors, and a love for food.
Three years – not a long time, but a period full of hope, disappointment, and hope again. The energy, effort, and money I poured into Saigon Café were not small. The delays at times pushed me into despair, but a Vietnamese woman never gives up. I kept living, working, and sustaining Saigon Café.
And today, after all, Saigon Café has reached its destination: officially licensed to operate.
Here, every cup of coffee, every dish tells my story – the full taste of Vietnam, set against the blue sea and golden sun of Gozo.
